I've been wanting to build a PBBG for a long time and i've finally started with some idea's.
The thing i'm doubting about right now is the language i'm writing it in. I have a lot of experience with PHP so at first i just thought to use that. PHP is unfortunaly not a really beatifull programming language. In September I start a cource where I will learn .NET and it would be really good practice if I were to write the game using .NET. The thing i'm affraid of is that i will run into to many problems and lose interest. What would be the best idea? I have experience with JAVA so .NET wont be completely new. |

well that all depends if you want it online or not. generally all pbbg are online as the B stands for browser so go figure on that one.
why are you against php. most online games use php, hell even facebook uses php and look how big that has become. seems to me if you have a lot of experiance with php thats the language to use |
